One of our favourite spots on the North Shore, I love the happy hour margaritas and tacos - they recently added proper tacos to their menu which I haven’t tried yet but am excited to. Their food is delicious - I love the ceviche and enchiladas, not a huge fan of the deserts. The staff is always friendly and happy, great in the summer when the patio doors are wide open!

Visited here last night with my mom. Service was good, and menu was large. First clue the food wasn’t their strength was the salsa, tastes like it’s from a jar. My Mom had the tacos and felt they were fine, I had the burrito, wasn’t good or bad. I think the food could benefit from a chef, the ingredient quality does seem to be there though. To be fair the server did offer to fix my plate, but I didn’t not have the heart to tell him it was bland and the pork was dry. I’m going to give it another try, I would encourage the staff to give honest feedback right up the chain, perhaps it was just an off night?

Very authentically Mexican. Excellent food and good quality. A bit pricier but the portions are good. The service was friendly. Nice atmosphere, mexican music, and not too loud. The area in North Van is lovely and near Capilano.

Such a good experience here. Had lunch on a Saturday, opted for a patio table and took our time. The restaurant is open and spacious, clean and inviting. The menu is varied and well curated, the food is delicious and high quality. We shared the excellent Fondido, the chicken torte and prawn tempura tacos. Before we even ordered they brought us chips and a lovely salsa dip which set the tone. Service was attentive but not pushy, and the server was very nice, topping up our waters without us having to ask. It was fairly quiet and our server said the evening service was busier and popular. I highly recommend you make the trip up to Edgemont, it is worth it!

Had a great dinner here with my partner! It was nice to discover this restaurant, as I love Mexican food and we hadn’t had some in a while. The restaurant is gorgeous, they did a fantastic job with the decor. We came in around 7pm on a weekday. It wasn’t incredibly busy but there were still plenty of people dining. They start you off with chips and salsa while you wait. The staff are accommodating and check up on you throughout the meal. We ordered chips and guacamole with blue corn taquitos to start. The guacamole was great, I liked the blue corn taquitos but I wish they had a bit more kick to them. We both enjoyed our mains however, the chicken and mango chimichanga and the Mexican paella. The food is very filling, so we over ordered a bit and took some home. Overall, the food is good but definitely not as spicy as I expect from Mexican cuisine.

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to in the GRVD, and I’ve been to many. The service was exceptional, everything we ordered including the drinks were top notch. Everything has several layers of flavour and depth and the heat level in term of spiciness is just right. Highly recommended this place and I can wait to go back and try more dishes. I really liked how cinnamon forward the sangria is.
